In 1989, Knight FM, Inc. was incorporated in Delaware as a privately owned corporation. We were founded to fill the expanding need for professional facilities management services around the globe.

For over 30 years, Knight Facilities Management and its global ventures have become a leading global facilities management service group. The company’s strong performance and work ethic have fostered rapid growth and boosted client demand for high-value services.

Daniel Walenburg - Knight FM
Daniel Waltenburg – President & Chief Executive Officer
CPE, CPMM, CFM, CFMJ, RPA, FMA, LEED AP

Daniel began working with Knight FM in Site Operations Management in 1997. He has since worked across the business in many different disciplines, geographies and capacities, including but not limited to: Operations Director, Global Quality Director, Vice President of Technical Services, and Vice President of Global Operations. As President of Knight FM, in addition to the domestic US business, Daniel is also responsible for the Knight FM global subsidiaries and its international interests and serves in various Board of Director capacities. He is responsible for the overall corporate strategy and development of the business. 

With a BBA from Northwood University, and having completed additional studies at institutions including but not limited to the Harvard University Graduate School of Design and University of Wisconsin Department of Engineering, Daniel holds a significant background in technical engineering, facilities management, and business strategy. He is a Certified Plant Engineer and Certified Plant Maintenance Manager with the Association for Facilities Engineering, a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional with the US Green Building Council, a Certified Facility Manager with the International Facility Management Association, and an accredited Facility Management Administrator as well as a Real Property Administrator from the Building Owners and Managers Institute.

Joshua Purcell – Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer
 

Joshua started with Knight FM in the USA during his first year of College, and has worked his way through the company in various Financial, Operations and Sales roles over the past two decades. Changing his focus in 2009 from a Global role to an Australian specific role, he further developed Knight FM in Australia and New Zealand and forged the Zancott Knight joint-venture.

Josh now drives IFM growth across the company, with a focus on fostering our strong corporate culture while looking to implement efficiency and optimise corporate functions. His understand of Knight FM operations is unparalleled, and his skillset is broad, with extensive experience in negotiation, budgeting and operations management. 

 

Dennis Argyle - Knight FM
Dennis Argyle – Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
CPA

Dennis began his career with Knight FM as Controller in 2004. He now serves as Senior Vice President and CFO. In this role, he provides oversight to the financial, human resources, and risk management departments. His extensive financial experience working with the financial community over the years has resulted in KnightFM being well positioned to obtain the necessary working capital to support the business during the vast economic changes over the years. Dennis’ ability to relate well to all facets of the business has provided insight and value to labor contract negotiations, supplier management, and customer contracts. Prior to joining KnightFM, Dennis worked with a number of national companies and accounting firms across a wide range of industries. He holds a Bachelors of Science Degree from Central Michigan University with an emphasis in accounting and computer systems 

 

Robert Alward - Knight FM
Robert Alward Senior Vice President of Culture and Development
FMA, CPMM

Robert started his career with Knight FM in 2006 as an Assistant Facility Manager within the Automotive market. Since 2006, Robert has also held the positions of Facility Manager, Operations Director, Director of FM Processes, and Global Quality Director. In his current role, Robert strives to uphold safety and quality standards across the organization.

Graduating from Ferris State University, Robert achieved a Bachelor of Science in Facilities Management and a Master of Business Administration degree with a strategic focus on advanced studies in Quality Management. Rob is well versed in the ISO/OHSAS certification process and provides world-wide leadership for the company. He is a Certified Plant Maintenance Manager with the Association for Facilities Engineering and also an accredited Facilities Management Administrator from the Building Owners and Managers Institute.

Kevin Kneibbe - Knight FM
Kevin Kneibbe – Vice President of Client Services

Kevin has been with Knight FM since 2006.  He currently holds the position of Vice President of Client Services and is responsible for a large book of business covering numerous clients in the US and Canada.  Prior to that role, he was the Executive Director of Asia for Knight FM where he was responsible for the Knight FM wholly owned subsidiaries and supporting the Knight FM joint-ventures. 

He has serviced many client accounts such as General Motors, Dow Chemical, Samsung, and Faurecia.  He has over 20 years of experience in the Facilities Management and Construction industries.

Nick Gallina – Director of Client Solutions

Nick has been with Knight FM since 2021. He currently holds the position of Director of Client Solutions where he is responsible for a large book of business covering numerous clients in the US. Prior to Knight FM, Nick held several positions in the industry including Purchasing Coordinator, Safety Coordinator, Operations Manager, Account Manager, Account Director and Regional Operations Director. Nick’s experience includes overseeing facilities teams across several different industries including Automotive, Manufacturing, Sports venues, Concert venues, commercial office space and Research and Developmental campuses. Along with overseeing facilities, Nick also has firsthand experience managing vendors and preparing multilayered bids.

Nick holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Saginaw Valley State University.

Jessica Lyden – Human Resources Generalist

Jessica joined the Knight FM team in January 2022, bringing with her 10 years of experience in the field of HR. She currently holds the position of Human Resources Generalist and is responsible for everything from recruitment and onboarding to assisting in employee relations and training.

Prior to Knight FM, Jessica has worked in a number of different industries from Higher Education to multi-state staffing and facilities maintenance. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University in Interdisciplinary Studies with a Human Capital concentration, Economics cognate and Business emphasis.

Naveen Radhappan – Chief Executive Officer ANZ

Naveen is a senior facilities and asset management leader who has enjoyed progressive advancement with high-profile enterprises where he has grown profits, refined operations, empowered staff, and established future prosperity through better processes and financial management. Since starting at Knight FM in September 2019, Naveen has continued to build his reputation for professional excellence and personal integrity.
