A little History

In 1989, Knight FM, Inc. was incorporated in Delaware as a privately owned corporation. We were founded to fill the expanding need for professional facilities management services around the globe.

For over 30 years, Knight Facilities Management and its global ventures have become a leading global facilities management service group. The company’s strong performance and work ethic have fostered rapid growth and boosted client demand for high-value services.

Daniel Walenburg - Knight FM
Daniel Waltenburg – President & COO
CPE, CPMM, CFM, CFMJ, RPA, FMA, LEED AP

Daniel began working with Knight FM in Site Operations Management in 1997. He has since worked across the business in many different disciplines, geographies and capacities, including but not limited to: Operations Director, Global Quality Director, Vice President of Technical Services, and Vice President of Global Operations. As President of Knight FM, in addition to the domestic US business, Daniel is also responsible for the Knight FM global subsidiaries and its international interests and serves in various Board of Director capacities. He is responsible for the overall corporate strategy and development of the business. 

With a BBA from Northwood University, and having completed additional studies at institutions including but not limited to the Harvard University Graduate School of Design and University of Wisconsin Department of Engineering, Daniel holds a significant background in technical engineering, facilities management, and business strategy. He is a Certified Plant Engineer and Certified Plant Maintenance Manager with the Association for Facilities Engineering, a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional with the US Green Building Council, a Certified Facility Manager with the International Facility Management Association, and an accredited Facility Management Administrator as well as a Real Property Administrator from the Building Owners and Managers Institute.

 

Dennis Argyle - Knight FM
Dennis Argyle – Senior Vice President & CFO

Dennis began his career with KnightFM as Controller in 2004. He now serves as Senior Vice President and CFO. In this role, he provides oversight to the financial, human resources, and risk management departments. His extensive financial experience working with the financial community over the years has resulted in KnightFM being well positioned to obtain the necessary working capital to support the business during the vast economic changes over the years. Dennis’ ability to relate well to all facets of the business has provided insight and value to labor contract negotiations, supplier management, and customer contracts. Prior to joining KnightFM, Dennis worked with a number of national companies and accounting firms across a wide range of industries. He holds a Bachelors of Science Degree from Central Michigan University with an emphasis in accounting and computer systems

Robert Alward - Knight FM

Robert started his career with Knight FM in 2006 as an Assistant Facility Manager within the Automotive market. Since 2006, Robert has also held the positions of Facility Manager, Operations Director, Director of FM Processes, and Global Quality Director. In his current role, Robert strives to uphold safety and quality standards across the organization.
Graduating from Ferris State University, Robert achieved a Bachelor of Science in Facilities Management and a Master of Business Administration degree with a strategic focus on advanced studies in Quality Management. Rob is well versed in the ISO/OHSAS certification process and provides world-wide leadership for the company. He is a Certified Plant Maintenance Manager with the Association for Facilities Engineering and also an accredited Facilities Management Administrator from the Building Owners and Managers Institute.

Michael Foy - Knight FM
Michael Foy – Controller
 

Mike started with KnightFM in 2005 in the financial department. Mike manages accounts payable, accounts receivable, customer billing, profitability reporting and monthly financial statements. Other responsibilities include working capital management, coordinating foreign subsidiary financial reporting and oversee-ing corporate purchasing activities.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Central Michigan University.

Chad has successfully operated within the Integrated Facilities Management space for 25+ years. This journey has included many positions leading to his current role with Knight Facilities Management. Supervisor, Site Manager, Compliance Auditor, Regional Manager, Operations Director and Business Development. This along with Diverse & Inclusive program leadership including mentorship of suppliers and business partners.
Areas of expertise include Automotive, Industrial, Commercial Offices and Business Campuses, Warehousing & Distribution, Entertainment Venues, Healthcare and Education.
Education from UM-Flint in Health Care Administration and Business Administration. Six Sigma Green Belt from Villanova University and multiple sales, public speaking and operational training disciplines associated with IFM Services.

Kevin Kneibbe - Knight FM

Kevin has been with Knight FM since 2006.  He currently holds the position of Vice President of Client Services and is responsible for a large book of business covering numerous clients in the US and Canada.  Prior to that role, he was the Executive Director of Asia for Knight FM where he was responsible for the Knight FM wholly owned subsidiaries and supporting the Knight FM joint-ventures.  He has serviced many client accounts such as General Motors, Dow Chemical, Samsung, and Faurecia.  He has over 20 years of experience in the Facilities Management and Construction industries.

Santi Hill has been with Knight FM since 2006, and currently holds the position of Senior Director of Client Solutions.  Prior to assuming this role, Santi served as Site Manager, Transition Manager, and Director of Operations with Knight FM.  Santi is responsible for the development of scalable FM solutions across our company’s portfolio of clients.  Santi has worked in facilities operations for more than 20 years.
