Safety First

Safety is our priority. Our employees are our greatest resource, and we are committed to protecting their safety. We cultivate an ongoing learning environment that prioritizes continuous health and safety education, combined site specific safety initiatives. Our focus is centered on:

  • Contract-specific training and induction, renewed yearly
  • Safe work practices embedded within all operational models and guidelines
  • Disciplined oversight from a dedicated Safety Committee who considers all safety concerns, including legislative changes, employee feedback, incidents, investigations, training and continuous improvement.

Not only does this equip our team with the knowledge and confidence to work competently onsite, it also boosts employee morale and generates high quality work.

Sustainability Practices

We’re committed to helping our clients exceed their sustainability goals. We help to ensure environmental compliance and stewardship through continual research of the latest technologies and applications. Through this, we can determine areas of improvement regarding all environmental waste streams, including hazardous and non-hazardous waste, increasing recycling and scrap credits, and continuous evaluations of optimal landfill/disposal methodologies.

We also work with our clients to implement energy-efficient lighting systems for new and existing facilities. Our energy cost reduction analysis includes energy-efficient lighting design and upgrade, HVAC and motor control upgrades and modifications, and evaluations of alternate sources of energy.

Our green programs can be used to achieve eventual LEED certification (U.S. Green Building Council Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design for Existing Buildings), which establishes a framework that maximizes operational efficiency while minimizing the environmental impacts of buildings.

We strive to benefit both the local communities within which we work – as our business grows, so do the local communities around us. We have a core commitment to engage small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) from the local community, as their understanding of local issues and connection to the local community ensure they deliver their work with pride. We work closely to promote the development of SMEs through mentoring, training and organizational support.
